CCI introduces 120 and 220 VAC Power Line Surge Suppressors

With DIN-Rail Mount Configuration

Tempe, AZ--Circuit Components, Inc. (CCI), has introduced its SDP Series power line surge suppressors. These suppressors offer space efficient mounting on any standard DIN Rail and are designed for 120 or 220 VAC service.

Each model is offered in 5, 10 and 15 Amp versions. Typical applications include protection of measurement and control equipment such as PLCs, SCADA, DCS and motor controls.

LEDs on the suppressors indicate both primary and back-up suppression stages. The suppressors offer three grounding options: DIN Rail foot to grounded rail, screw post, or hard-wired terminal. The units’ balanced torroidal-based filter provides superior EMI/RFI filtering and their heavy-duty metal enclosure withstands most severe industrial environments.

The company’s SDP Series suppressors are “UL Recognized Components” to 1449 Second Edition for US and Canada, UL File E148409. CCI suppressors also exceed severity Category B of ANSI/IEEE C62.41-1991 recommendations.
