TRANSIENT
VOLTAGE SUPPRESSORS – SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED
FOR ALLEN BRADLEY CONTROLLERS-I/O MODULES—AVAILABLE FROM
CIRCUIT
COMPONENTS INC.
Tempe, AZ -- Circuit Components Inc. has
announced the availability of two new multi-line surge suppressors
designed to protect all I/O
modules in Allen Bradley’s series of control instrumentation.
The SAB Series surge suppressor utilizes a pre-wired cable for quick
error-free plug connection to Allen Bradley and is attached to the
swing arm that connects to the I/O Module. This family of suppressors
also features a terminal-to-terminal block version.
The SAB-20LM, for 1-20 point applications and the SAB-40LM, for 21-40 point
applications, are designed for use in the harshest environments and provide
protection from lightning induced surges, EMF fast transients and EM/RFI noise.
Sub-nano second response time stops failures due to lightning, spikes and overvoltage
surges while filtering all other electrical noise. Model selection is compatible
with all Allen Bradley I/O modules including AC, DC, contact output, current
output and signal output.
Performance exceeds severity level 4 of
IEC 1000-4-4 and 1000-4-5 while bringing equipment into compliance
with ANSI/IEEE37.90 1-1989 & C37.2
1996.
The space efficient protector is hermetically sealed while universal DIN Rail
mounting allows easy installation on any standard DIN rail configuration. The
automatic reset and fail safe design requires no maintenance.
CCI offers a broad line of electrical suppression and filtering devices with
a product line numbering over 200 models providing the most comprehensive product
line for transient suppression/filtering in the industry.
