CIRCUIT COMPONENTS,
INC.
ACQUIRES BUS BAR PRODUCT LINE
FROM BUSSCO CORP.
Tempe, AZ, August 22, 2003 - Circuit Components,
Inc. (CCI) of Tempe, Arizona, has acquired the bus bar business
of Bussco Corporation of Torrance, California. The bus bar product
line, now the Bussco Division of CCI, has been moved to CCI's
31,000 sq. ft. plant in Tempe AZ, and the company is working closely
with customers and suppliers to ensure a smooth transition so
that bus bar needs will not be affected by the move.
Established as an independent company in
1992, CCI is the former Circuit Components Division of Rogers
Corporation, and is a leading manufacturer of printed circuit
board bus bars and board stiffeners. Most of the management and
technical staff of CCI have previous experience in the bus bar
industry, with some having pioneered the use of bus bars in computers.
Together with CCI’s technical group
the key Bussco sales and technical people who have joined CCI
will enable the transferred operation to offer its customers greater
depth of technical resources.
The bus bar product line will complement
CCI's other electronic component products, which include printed
circuit board bus bars and board stiffeners, surge protection
(TVSS) devices, and high-frequency interconnections.
Sales inquiries can be addressed to Bob Griffin,
Sales Manager, Bussco Division, at 480-731-6286 or bgriffin@cci-msc.com.
